Hey Boys and Squirrels, Stumptown Comics Fest 2008 went smashingly and I had a completely splendid time. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, said hello, bought a print or took a postcard; it was lovely interfacing with you all. Highlights included: some books by Robert Sergel, author of what is probably my favorite webcomic, Idiot Comics; meeting and fraternizing to varying extents with several high-, middle-, and fellow low-profile webcartoonists, including B. Shur, of whose work I'm a longtime admirer, new neighbor and Latin Sensation Aaron Diaz, general comics hero Nicholas Gurewitch, and several others, as well; watching my friend Jared from TLE sleep under his table; and: eating too god damned many Voodoo Doughnuts.
